Scammers can now create academic documents that look professional with frightening accuracy thanks to powerful design tools and machine learning algorithms, making detection more challenging than ever.
In the past, high school diploma templates and basic graphic design software were used by those who created fake diplomas. Because of poor layout, grammatical errors, or subpar printing, the results were frequently obvious. But AI has altered the rules. It can now automatically duplicate fonts, seals, watermarks, and signatures after analyzing actual diplomas. In order to produce phony transcripts that appear entirely real, some programs can even produce realistic student data, GPA information, and coursework lists.
The capacity to automate forgery at scale is what makes AI-generated diplomas particularly risky.
